Sautéed Asparagus

Updated: Sep 1, 2020

the vegetable we keep in our fridge at all times

One of the simplest side dishes you'll ever have, asparagus is the vegetable we always pick up when we see it. This is the one veggie I will be planting in bulk next year and can not wait to be able to harvest it.

Ingredients:

1 bundle of asparagus

1 tablespoon of Kerry Gold Butter

1 tsp Trader Joes Everything but the bagel seasoning

Trim the bottom of the asparagus removing the woody ends, about 1/4 inch, sometimes more. Heat up butter in the cast iron skillet to medium heat. You can leave the spears whole or chop them in half. Saute over medium for about 4 minutes until they become tender but still bright green. Remove from heat and toss with seasoning. The worst thing you can do to asparagus is over cook-hello slimy disaster, so keep an eye on it and keep it crisp!
